Pair more than one Apple Watch with your iPhone

It's possible to pair multiple Apple Watches with your iPhone, but only one watch can be active on your phone at a time. The watchOS does not support wearing two watches at once or simultaneous sharing of watches between different users.

With this out of the way, the steps to pair another Apple Watch to your iPhone are quite similar to the pairing process described earlier.

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab
  2. Tap on your Apple Watch at the top of the screen
  3. Now, tap on Pair New Watch.
  4. Just follow the on-screeninstructions to pair the Apple Watch and iPhone. You can choose to set up your watchasnew oruse a backupof your other watch

Each watch that you pair to your iPhone has its own settings. This allows you to customize them with different apps and faces. Further, you can also choose to add payment details for Apple Pay on one watch and not add it to the other.

Switching Between Multiple Apple Watches

At a time, you can have only one Apple Watch actively connected to your iPhone. When you have two watches paired, you will have the option to enableAuto Switch. This will make your iPhone automatically switch watches whenever you do.

When Auto Switch is enabled, you can simply remove the current watch, put on the second one, andraise your wrist to activate it.
